The Importance of Discipline in the Recruiting Process recruiting

Discipline is vital to being recruited – you cannot afford to be passive or disorganized in your approach. Thus the question becomes, what program offers the best tools and services to allow your self-discipline to equate to success in being recruited?

I was listening to a speech the other day in which the topic was: The Role that Discipline Plays in Goal Setting. One of the main characteristics of self-discipline is the ability to forgo instant and immediate gratification and pleasure, in favor of some greater gain or more satisfying results. Self-discipline gives you the ability to stick to your decisions and follow them through, without changing your mind or procrastinating, and is therefore one of the important requirements for achieving goals. Contrary to common belief, self-discipline is not a severe and limited behavior or a restrictive lifestyle. It is a very useful inner power, which enables one to persevere and not give up, in spite of failure and setbacks. It gives us self-control, and the ability to resist temptations and distractions that tend to stand in the way of attaining aims and goals. Discipline is one of the most important pillars of real and stable success.

The importance of discipline has been a topic of many studies and dissertations for thousands of years. As Hindu Prince Gautama Siddharta, the founder of Buddhism, (563-483 B.C.) said, “Endurance is one of the most difficult disciplines, but it is to the one who endures that the final victory comes.”

This is the basis of the SportsWorx philosophy. The time and commitment it takes to gather the information needed to make an INFORMED decision about selecting the right college and athletic program, if undertaken with discipline and endurance, will greatly enhance your chances of success and of satisfaction with your results. By following our program, our athletes benefit not only by succeeding in their recruiting efforts, but also by developing skills that will benefit them for the rest of their lives! In a society conditioned to expect immediate gratification, SportsWorx provides the building blocks for a life of success and true accomplishment.

Discipline is vital to being recruited – you cannot afford to be passive or disorganized in your approach. Thus the question becomes, what program offers the best tools and services to allow your self-discipline to equate to success in being recruited? In evaluating what benefits a recruiting service can offer to supplement YOUR efforts, ask these questions:

1.Do they offer educational tools to enable you to understand the entire college admissions and recruiting processes?

2. Do they offer a research tool to allow you to more easily explore the wide variety of academic, social, and athletic options available (as opposed to telling you which schools they choose)?

3. Do they offer legitimate marketing tools and exposure to college coaches (more than simply a free online profile)?

4. Do they offer guidance to help keep you on track throughout the entire process?

If the answer to any of these questions is no, then take a look at the SportsWorx Recruiting System. It is a comprehensive program designed to provide you with ALL of the tools and guidance you need to achieve that final victory.
